Beacon Reception at DB2GM at the lake of Konstanz
Reception of the IARU/NCDXF International Beacon Project beacons.
Location: Steisslingen, Germany JN47NR
Latitude: 47,78 deg North, Longitude: 8.915 deg East.
The receiver is a IC730. The antenna is a FD4 wire antenna 10m above ground hanged in north south direction.
So this is a rather moderate site with low performance antenna and a preference for east and west destinations.
The transceiver is up to now manually tuned and mainly operational at 14MHz band. I have made the web site based on the instruction of VE3SUN these simple instructions.
