Schon als
Schüler kam ich mit der Radiobastelei und
Langdrahtantennen in Kontakt. Nicht nur tagsüber,
sondern auch heimlich des Nachts wurden Radiowellen mit
einem Kristalldetektor dekodiert und als Sprache oder
Musik mit einem Kopfhörer empfangen.
Schwerpunkte meines späteren Studiums an der technischen
Universität in Stuttgart und meines Berufs waren die
Nachrichtentechnik und hochfrequente Messtechnik. Eines
Tages fand ich auf dem Dachboden den selbst gebastelten
0-V-2 wieder und hörte begeistert den Gesprächen von
Funkamateuren zu. Mit einer Hörerkarte, auf dem die
jeweils gehörten Rufzeichen beider Stationen standen,
bestätigte ich das Gehörte. Oftmals kam eine Antwort
zurück. Dies animierte mich vollends, die Prüfung zum
Funkamateur abzulegen. Seit 1977 gehöre ich dem
Ortsverband Reutlingen P07 an.Already
as a pupil I spent a lot of my time making electronic
devices and wireless radios, and studied the effects of
long wire antennas in our large garden. During the day
and also on the quiet at night, I decoded the radio waves
with a crystal detector and listened to the speech and
music in my headphones. The main topics of my later
studies at the technical university of Stuttgart had been
in Telecommunications and HF measuring technology. One
day I found my selfmade 0-V-2 straight-circuit receiver
in the attic and listened to the conversations of 2 radio
amateurs with great enthusiam. After that I confirmed
receiving their messages and signal by a receiving card
(QSL card) with the two calls marked on it. This
encouraged me to pass the exam as a radio amateur. Since
1977 I am a member of the local radio club Reutlingen (P
07).
Die
Hauptaktivitäten lagen in der Anfangszeit auf KW und im
Erarbeiten von Diplomen in Sprache und Telegrafie. My
favorite activities in the beginning were the short waves
and acquiring diplomas in telegraphy and SSB .
Heute findet
man mich meist am Computer und im Chat (Weltconvers) auf
Kanal 7 mit Freunden aus VK (10 UTC).Nowadays
I am usually working on my computer and you find me on
the worldwide conversation channel 7 talking with friends
in VK (10 UTC).
