qrv I am on 2 m and 70 cm with a Icom IC-821H Transceiver and on SW 6m-160m with a the Yaesu FT-450,  for Digital Voive (DV) and FM Mode with the 2011 new D-Star Icom ID-31E for 70 cm
                                                                                                                                                                  I am member of Icom ID-31 Yahoo-group http://groups.yahoo.com/group/icomid31/

Antennas for 2m and 70 cm

... 70cm vertical for D-Star
My 2 m 17 el. Yagi after F9FT, boom length 6.5 m technical data 15m above ground and 11 el. Vormast Yagi for 70cm, 365m asl

To the VHF/UHF antennas a simple rotor belong.

For the current supply of the Transceiver and a Transitor Pa for 2m two power supply units serve 300 Watts.
A constant voltage switch power pack SEC1223 with 13,2V and 21A becomes by a Zetagi 1250S with 40A
                      and adjustable output voltage supplements.

TNC, Pa 2m, match box 10m, SWR meter of Zetagi, Sec1223

For package I use the TNC2H-DK9SJ von Symek, paxon software and a 2m/70cm vertical.

2 antennas for the short waves

 QRV to 40 to 160 m

For the high-frequency bands 40 and 80m I use a 40,8m long Windom self-'s building wire antenna with 1:6 Balun.

ON4AA-website for a koax-drive Windomantenna here.

The middle point of suspension is in 9m height at my UKW mast over the house.
The diagonal thighs end in 5-6m height at a tree

and at a cross-beam branch in the garden. By the diagonal arrangement otherwise the vertical becomes radiation due to
the small height above ground reduces.

The antenna has thereby similarity with the following arrangement:

The illustration originates from the electronic yearbook
1977 p.171 also of  DL7KM tested dimensions.

QRV to 10 to 20m

 In November 2006 I have a Rotary dipole for 10/15/20 m von ECO/Italy also
Rotor installs. Since my VHF mast is in the way, I reach only one angle of rotation of 160 degrees.

With the Tuner MFJ-986 are better on 10, 12, 15, 17 and 20m a SWR than 1,5
adjustable.
